He earned a Master in Acupuncture Studies degree with Distinction from The Won Institute of Graduate Studies, and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. Alex incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element, and Sports Acupuncture in his treatments. He also uses moxibustion. cupping, GuaSha, e-stim and TuiNa. Alex is a lifelong learner and educator. Alex has studied Mindfulness and other forms of meditation, including over 100 hours of meditation studies at Won Institute.

Alex was born in South Korea and lived in Saudi Arabia, Paris, and

ultimately the United States. He has experienced different cultures and seen diverse approaches to medicine while living in different countries. He received his education in civil and architectural engineering in the United States. After working as an engineer and an educator of mathematics and physics for 20 years, he realized that he would rather work with living people than inorganic structures. In discovering his passion for healing, he made the transition from quantitative to qualitative work. He trained in Japan and Korea for different styles in acupuncture before receiving his Masters degree in Acupuncture from the Won Institute in Philadelphia.

Hyejung Lee is a nationally certified Diplomate of Acupuncture and a

licensed practitioner in Pennsylvania and New York. She earned her Master of Acupuncture Studies from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies, where she also completed an advanced program in Chinese Herbal Medicine. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Temple University, complemented by specialized clinical training in South Korea at the Oriental Medicine Hospital. focusing on pain management and recovery from motor vehicle accidents. 

A native of Seoul, South Korea, Hyejung was deeply influenced by her

grandfather, a distinguished Korean acupunturist, whose teachings inspired her passion for holistic healing. Drawing from her cultural heritage and extensive education, Hyejung is dedicated to enhancing her patients' quality of life by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being through acupuncture.

In addition to her expertise in pain management, Hyejung is a recognized authority in facial acupuncture, holding advanced certifications in facial rejuvenation acupuncture and micro-needling. She is a licensed cosmetologist in New York and integrates her skills in aesthetic medicine with her treatments. Furthermore, she is a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner and aromatherapist, enabling her to provide comprehensive, personalized care for her patients.
